Day 0 \u2013 TT2000 2016 \u2013 The Trip Down<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Decided to leave home about 5pm and take a slow trip down. It was supposed to be raining but the weather was fine all day but the wind was hell. Getting blown all over the place down the Foxton straights. Topped off with the last cheap fuel in Levin and ambled my way down to the ferry. Stopped in for some Burger King at Paraparaumu. Back on the bike I got a text saying ferry was late in and not boarding till 12:30am. Well that was an hour less sleep than I hoped. Terminal was closed when I arrived at 9:45pm but opened at 10pm so I watched a few videos on my Surface Pro 4 till I could board and then tied the bike down expecting a rough trip and off to bed I went.<\/span><\/p>\n
